Anybody have a proceedure for getting the throttle cable to operate smoothly again? It isn't kinked or anything, just really stiff.

Like Reg says-soak the outer sheath with some type of thin lubricant. If there are no kinks you may want to pull the inner wire out and clean it off with a scotch pad and then lube up the entire outer legnth of the sheathing. You'll be amazed how easily it works when you're done. I think this probably needs to be done every 30 yrs or so! Home I'm still around the next time my stuff needs it again. Mike

CAUTION.........I cleaned and lubed one so well once that it didn't have enough resistance left to hold the throttle open to the desired position.
