Radiator reconditioning

Been working at getting my motor started and as I was flushing the cooling passages I put the hose into the rad and it makes like a sprinkler. Took both rad's to radiator shop and found that the original honeycomb to be re-cored is more work than the spare rad which is not hoenycomb.

$450.00 for a complete recondition 3 core rad. More if I have him do the honeycomb. $300.00 for a 2 core.

I don't plan on working the truck but is a 3 core necessay?

Anybody want to share what they paid to recondition their radiator?

Tom
