BobT-47P15 Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Stopped by the body shop in a neighboring town to check progress on the other P15 convert they've been working on for several months. Actually, it's just one employee working on it. He repaird some damage from old accidents, and repainted. It appears to be a color similar to Cruiser Maroon.....he said it's called "rose". He tried to match the dash, which has been repainted. He thought the car was blue when new based on snitches of old color found. In a few days the car will be sent back to Phoenix to the brother of the guy who took it to the shop. Quote
Jim Yergin Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 Bob, Does it looks as good in person as it does in the picture? Jim Yergin Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 9, 2008 Author Report Posted November 9, 2008 Yes, the paint job came out good. The interior has been re-done in the past, and is pretty nice. However, overall, the car still needs several things. Like the rest of the firewall painted. The engine and bay cleaned and painted. Some of the chrome is not so good. The doors don't align the best. The trunk lid is bowed up, apparently from a previous rear end accident. So.....it looks good, but still needs work. Kind of like my car, I guess. Quote
