Spring Shackle revisited

Did you declare after read post #47 from sean(g503.com) with his drawning??? Now about Claudio,he made my new rear spring year ago with the eye turned up(see pic),when the original is turned to down.I declare concluded this thread "SPRING SHACKLE REVISITED" because all of us have many subject matter.:eek:

Fernando Post #47 explains that the thread of the shackle is determined by the "roll" of the spring eye. The sketch you attached in post #49 says it all. I appreciate all your effort and because I have a minor issue with my springs I now have a better understanding or what's going on.
