Bingster Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 The arm rests on the front doors of my '47 DeSoto are shot. Can an upholsterer take the core and rebuild them with new foam and fabric, or do I need to get some better ones somewhere? Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 If the metal part is ok, maybe need sanding and repainting. Then the upholstry guy should be able to go from there. Quote
Justin Slingsby Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 Do you guys have the bakelite/plastic strip that runs the outer perimeter of the arm rest? I just got Plymouth arm rests from a salvage yard and my plastic trim strips are shot. Anybody repopping em? Quote
