OK guys & Gals.

I have been studying the parts book until my eyes are crossed and I cannot find the part number for this rusted bracket(s) in my 1942 P-14.

I am trying to attach a photo - I hope it works.

This "L" shaped bracket bolts onto the frame next to the brake master cylinder. It points laterally and bolts onto a rubber insulator on top of a heavy lateral bracket. The bracket in question then bends downward and bolts onto the body at the point of the front door pillar.

I need to replace both driver and passenger side brackets before I weld in replacement floor panels. Any help is appreciated.

I think the insert button is that yellow envelope at the top with mountains on it. It will allow you to post a larger picture without thumbnails.

I tried to upload some photos with the little mountain logo but it requires a script input that I can't get to work.

If you look at the little photos and squint alot....

Looks like the front outer floor support that supports the inner rocker and floor at the front and is under the A pillar. If this is damaged you should be able to fab something to replace the channel steel and metal support. You want this support good and strong as well as fitting correctly in order to to keep your doors from sagging and to have a good support for your rockers. I am not sure if this what I saw, i downloaded your pic and magnified it to have a closer look, but it was very distorted..................Fred
