I found this old Plymouth at Barry's U-Pull-It in Mobile, AL. It really did not seem to have a lot of usable body parts but the chrome seems to be in decent shape. Since everyone on this forum has always gone above and beyond to help me, I am willing to go get this trim if anyone needs it. Check out the pictures and let me know if this would help you and just let me know.

P.S. By the way, I sadly administered last rites to a 57 Dodge 1-Ton Flatbed. There wasn't anything usable on it.

If you will recall the very recent post by Kai.....teardrop puller.....about his

rusting (supposedly rechromed) bumper......he might be interested, but he's

in Mexico. And this one would need re-plating. Just a thought.

Given that you were so inclined the lug nuts, brake drums, brake springs, brake/wheel cylinders, that small brake line that connects the brake cylinders, rear axles, front spindles and just misc fastners would be a good a good catch too if this thing is going to the crusher.

Obviously they need to be in at least repairable condition. And, something that you can get to without resorting to the purchase of your own private endloader. Just some thoughts.

I could use the specialty screws that attach the inside sunvisors to the car. They are stainless (or chromed), tapered and seemingly not available except in parts cars.

If you could get the bumpers and get me the front bumper. If you have read my post about bumpers, then you know that I need one. I have a "mailboxRus" box in Brownsville, TX, so the shipping would not be so bad. UPS has shipped me a couple of bumpers from California and the cost was reasonable. They just wrapped the bumper in cardboard and put the address on it.

Oh yes, I am editting this post to add that I realy need wiper arms and a radio (doesn't have to work).

I can paypal you any cost you incure, or my bank can issue a US check (Bank of America) in a few days.

I can get the bumper chromed down here, then I can watch them and get it back at them if it is bad.

Thanks for considering me.

If you grab the bumpers it would be good to check to see if the gravel guards between the bumper and the body are in good shape too before you torch the bumpers off. If you can save them ... those things are like hen's teeth to find in decent shape (unrusted, unbent). Usually about $150 - 200 for an NOS one that ends up being bent from storage anyway. Demand isn't high but when someone needs one they needs one!

Brian, in another thread (on reflectors) I posted some photos of the little red reflectors that are located on the rear tail-light housings of the P18's like the one you posted. Here's one of them. I could use them if you get back to the yard. They aren't too hard to get out at all. And, the housings themselves are good to grab too. I'm still trying to figure out how to successfully replace the actual lense in those reflector housings. I anticipate eventual success ( ) so could use a few more sets to "fix" when the time is right.
