I went back to this little junkyard I know of today. 115 degrees this afternoon so the visit was a short one. I was trying to see if they had any overdrive transmissions in their pile. The owner is a Mopar guy, but he seemed to have a knack for diassembling everything. Piles of manifolds and heads from L-head engines and a lot of the ones in the cars were open blocks. I did not find any R10's. There were a couple 3 speeds and this one marked 39 Desoto. Anyone know what this is? It seemed to have a couple solenoids on the side. And the bees that have been guarding the transmission pile Some random cars around the lot

SO as typical, I take Ed picking and HE gets all the good stuff. I think he needs to take ME so I can find stuff. I'll have several posts with all the pictures. Sorry, no grill bars picked, most were just so far gone to even get them off, much less in one piece. Keven, sorry the guy wanted $40 for EACH gauge/speedo. So I passed on spending that kind of $$$. I did score a pair of corner windows, if anyone is interested PM me and we'll talk price. I also got a steering wheel nut. Beyond that....not much. The picture of the white truck, we could not pick it, it is going for $1000 for the truck. That truck was actually the reason I went....and I couldn't touch it.....sigh.. Enjoy the eye candy.

YoungEd and I spent a day picking MoPaR parts up by Brainerd. In the next several posts you'll see what we saw. I'll try and group them nicely...and YES, we did find some stuff for you guys at a nominal fee. But sorry, no grill bars for anyone but me...and they are pretty roached. More on that later. So far only one tick found...the g/f has to check me over tonight....rats!
