  1. Dates for this year's event Sept 17 through 20, 2020 Plymouths (and others) to Plymouth Commemorare the 400th anniversary of the Pilgram's landing at Plymouth Rock Touring Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts with stops at Museums, Battleship Massachusetts, historic sites like Mayflower replica, Plymouth Plantation Enjoy a New England Shore dinner, quafe a couple craft brewed beverages, sneak in some antiquing. Meet fellow car enthusiasts, see great cars, great places Contact Mark Duggan through this web sites pm feature or at Mark@randdusaclassicscom to be placed on the event e mail list. Lodging, itenerary and activities are being planned now. A moderate per car registration fee will will be announced to help defray organizers expenses. Consider joining in this year. We had a great time last year. All Chrysler makes invited, other orphaned brands encouraged and welcomes. It not just for P-15s anymore.
  2. This show usually gets a good turnout of Plymouths and DeSotos. Featured make this year Studebaker. Gotta figure out how to get both car and Stude truck there together. https://m.facebook.com/events/291634931719202?acontext={"ref"%3A"3"%2C"action_history"%3A"null"}&aref=3
  3. Just returned from our trip to Belfast Maine for the WPC meet. Turn out was a little disappointing our class 46 to 54 had the largest turn out with 12 cars, there were 3 prewar vehicles and the rest were 59 and newer. We had a good trip caravaning with Mark D, Rich W, and Mike M, through the hills and valleys of Mass, NH, and Maine. Did the circle of Acadia National Park on the Auto Loop. Climbed Mt. Cadillac in the park, 3rd gear all the way up, 2nd gear all the way down. Shared the area roads with the NE Classic Car Association, Packards, Cadillacs, Lincolns, and other "true" classics, several Buggatis touring as a group, what looked like the Winnebago Dealers of America Association (32, they were numbered, Identical new Motorhomes traveling en masse) and of course Mopars all out and about on RT 1 and other roads. We logged 1341 miles, without so much as a hiccup. Used 71.6 gallons of gas, 18.7 mpg, and 1 quart of oil. Saw the sea, ate some Lobster, sampled some local brews, all in all an enjoyable week. Signs seen along the way; JUST OIL and more. Home decor and Chocolate, Rustic Furniture and Fudge, and Wild Raspberries. Call to order. (some sort of Rogers Rules of Parliamentary Procedure thing I guess) Will get some pictures up as soon as I unpack my Camera or finish my nap, which ever comes first. here are a few teasers from Mark D's FB Mark, Mike and I ready to saddle up from Lancaster, Mass, the gathering at the rented homestead in Belfast, Near the Penobescott Narrows Bridge on the Way to Acadia Park, and on the Auto loop in Acadia NP.
  4. Mark Duggan and I are continuing to beat our heads against the wall, trying to find an event that will motivate interest in a gathering of Forum members and Chrysler Corporation Vehicle enthusiasts. We would also be tenatively gathering at Mark D's place out side of Worchester, Ma and doing a group drive to the event area. Last year we did a tour of the Hudson Valley in August. This year an opportunity presents for September 13-16 in the form of the Walter P Chrysler Club's annual meet. The WPC is a club for all Chrysler brands from the earliest models to the present offerings. This year they will meet in Belfast,Maine. There are activities planned as well as self directed tours and visits to local attractions. The Participant Judged Show is held on Saturday, all makes of Chrysler cars and trucks are welcomed regardless of condition. One does not have to be a club member to participate. At this time we are considering letting a house in the area that will accomodate up to 12 people. It features a pool and hot tub, canoes and kayaks, fishing gear, and is walking distance to shops restaurants, parks and beaches. We are looking for a commitment of 5 to 6 parties (have 3 currently) to make this work $$$ wise versus the host Hotel costs This would give us a place gather, sleep, cook meals, and also give the folks not interested in car stuff all the time a place to be rather than in the hotel room or lobby. Link to house: https://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p391622 Link to WPC click on 2016 meet: https://www.chryslerclub.org/meetinfo.htm Times are good gas is cheap bring grab your Chrysler and your juke box money and come on out.
  5. Having tried this before with limited success, I will try it again and hope for a better respose. The attempt to find a place where forum folks from the North Eastern states can get together at an event, vheicle or not. To put faces with uusernames, and enjoy an outing. To strive to find a place that is reachable in 3 to 4 hours, that provides and iteresting venue, and a reason to come out and grip and grin with fellow enthusiasts. Don;t care if your car or truck is't driveable, you likely have something that is. So buck up fellows and see if we can get some others then the usual subjects to leave their county. We can even designate a time and dat for a fourm chat to get suggestions, concerns, and other thoughts out. this is a 190 mile, 3.5 mile sojurn for me.
