want to replace points with electronic ignition- what electronic ignition system is capatiple i have a 53 dodge B4B flathead six with the stock distributor and points any help would be appreciated thanks , eddie

Some one on the previous thread said, "they're making resistor wire to look like vintage",,.....or something like that. I'd like to know more,.....like a source. I did call a couple of vendors who make the vintage looking wire and was told it's modern wire and insulation covered with the woven lacquered outer sheath. However their plug wires were solid core and not appropriate where "resistor" wire is required. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who is knowledgeable on this subject because I would really like to incorporate that look on the engine I am building.
