hey y'all. I'm trying to get a 3 spoke moon wheel on my 53 cranbrook due to a shorty original wheel. Ive tried 2 adapters that my local shop said would fit and neither worked. Anyone have any experience or knowledge on the topic? Thanks in advanced.

Just a quick question, was about to order an oil filter online, figured I'd come here first and make sure I have the correct one. Searched and saw a few posts about toilet paper, and a few about Mopar oil filter adapter kits... which now makes me wonder if I just need a filter? or a filter and something else? I was looking at a FRAM C134PL for my '47 Dodge Sedan. Few sites have them fairly cheap... assuming will fit, but, again, when I saw a few posts about adapters, I figured I'd better ask.

Hey there... was on the site many years ago, but, guess the account was deleted and can't find my old posts. I asked this before, but never got to work on my car because went back to school. I'm not a mechanic, just learning as I go... would like to convert the wheels over to something newer with discs but, may be out of my league. For now, I was looking at adaptitusa.com for an adapter. Currently the weeks are rotted off basically, won't even inflate and was thinking of adapters and just grabbing some cheap wheels/rims at the wreckers so I can at least move the car and such. I have a 1947 Dodge Sedan 4 door... I assume American. I am in Canada but it was brought up from NY before I bought it. I'd like to get something common, like 5-bolt spacing so I can grab something off a mini van or truck. ... also, if anyone does know of a good link to where I can get info about a relatively easy/cheap brake swap that doesn't involve the front clip off a camaro, that would be greatly appreciated.
