If your instrument cluster glass was broken, would you replace it with glass again, or plexiglass? (On the P15 it is just common clear glass, not curved or tinted, etc. The edges are not even 'dressed'.) Mine is not broken, but chipped a bit at the corners, and it doesn't come clean real well, so thinking of replacing it, either with plexiglass, or some better quality glass than what was in it.

Holy smokes!!!! These gauges look awesome. I haven't installed these gauges yet and probably won't until January or February. If they work as well as they look then I'll be as happy as a gopher in soft dirt. Here's some before and after pics. I had the chrome dash trim re chromed locally before I sent them to Kevin. Thanks Keven. These are gonna look great when it's all back together.

File Name: 1949 CHRYSLER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER GASKET File Submitter: rb1949 File Submitted: 07 May 2016 File Category: Instructions, Manuals & Templates This is a PDF template for the one piece paper (fiber) gasket for the 4 gauges and odometer housing that mount to the rear of a 1949 Chrysler Instrument Cluster. I believe 1950 used the same cluster. Made to keep dirt, dust, etc. from getting into the gauges. Cut with a sharp instrument to avoid 'tearing' the material edges. Punch the screw holes slightly lager than the screw. Print the template at 100%. Click here to download this file
