Apparently, no one is interested. If I put it on craigslist, they will come, but the "they" around here are the type that will take it only to let it rot in a field somewhere

I eventually sold the red one in this post on ebay. It went to a guy down in Florida. I think he uses it as a store front attraction. This truck was part of a Virginia estate. Soon after I bought a property in Southern Oregon....and what do I find on the property? Yep, another one! However, this one is not in as good as shape. It is a 5 window. It has a lot of the parts on the bed. Unlike the Virginia truck, this truck is rust free and the paint may be original I could sell it, but I would rather give it to someone that really wants it and is willing to put in the work to bring it back If you are interested, contact me.

The truck is now on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Other-Pickups-1948-Dodge-B-1-Series-Dually-Truck-/252373510432?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3ac2a22920:g:8EwAAOSw4hdXH3ox&item=252373510432

Wallytoo, The information is needed in order for the potential buyer to arrange for shipping. Carriers will base their shipping costs on these parameters. Could you possible take a few measurements so that I can provide more exacting numbers to potential buyers? The bed is off of mine so the front wheel wells or side steps would be the widest dimension. Thanks,

Does anyone know what the dimensions and weight of this truck are? This will likely be important for shipping

I have decided not to keep it. I have removed it from ebay and will repost it Sunday night for less than 1/2 the current price. Someone is going to score a nice truck

Its on ebay now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/252368571586?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Although, I'm starting to think I might buy it from the estate myself if I can figure out how to ship it inexpensively. I could also drive it back...I don't think it would take much to get it running and driving Of the 17 estate trucks and cars , this was the nicest. The appears that the owner had just bought a bunch of lumber to fix an scissors lift. He parked in the garage and then never used it again and never worked on the scissor lift. Based on the condition, I suspect he purchased it as an original or a restored. Compared to all the other vehicles it was in so much better condition. Had the barn not collapsed, it would be in very good condition today.

How would the value change for you if you knew the engine runs?

It is located in Clear Brook Virginia I had listed it on this forum....but have not received a single inquiry

I think its a very nice truck..... I have had no luck selling it yet. It goes on Ebay late tonight. I have it priced at $2750....which seems cheap to me. But then again, perhaps these B-1 Dodges are not very popular. Its part of an estate sale. I'm the executor and I'm 3 states away from it. I was going to get it running last time I was there, but I simply ran out of time. Rather than an Auction, I just put it at a fixed priced so that there is no fooling around.

I'm not near the truck, but I do have a picture of the plate. I have tried to enhance it to bring out the letters. Take a look, maybe you can make it out if you know what it should be. I see B-1? 152 Maybe the ? is an F? The tag appears to show Auxiliary equipment 14500 lbs and 3200 RPM.

This is a 1948 Dodge truck. Is it simply a "B-1 Series" or is there more to it? I have posted it for sale, but I'm not sure I have accurately described it. Thanks
