Need info on how to lower the front of my 1948 dodge

  I just heated the front coils, I know some people don't like to hear this but the car was 3/4 of inch higher on one side. I started at the side was the highest and just slowly heated the bottom of the spring until it collapsed. Drop 2 inches, no bouncing of the front end and rides great. If you try to heat the top or each spring individually your going to see a different in the ride and won't be happy. Lil led school stuff, I know cutting is better but a few people I talked to lowere...
