About Me

Retired from Reddi-mix/ dump truck, drove as a Teamster for 32 yrs in Wenatchee and 10 yrs Log truck (non union) in Twisp Wa. My wife, when 14 yrs old (in 1974), ask for and was given her deceased grandfathers 1950 Plymouth, he lived in Cashmere Wa. It was her daily driver after she turned 16, until we parked it our neighbor's garage in 1992, her pit bull did a number on the old upholstery and rear headliner, and the car was running bad. It turned out to be the carburetion. It sat in hibernation for 14 yrs when we found her old Mopar mechanic friend George (StoneyNU) Northcott. He worked many miracles and it runs smooth as a kitten, he went through the frontend and rocker panels taillights, blinkers, brakes and tweeked SO MUCH more! The carpet, door panels, headliner/windlace and seat upholstery is another matter and has taken a long time for me. Money and lack of knowledge is a real setback but it is finally coming around. Just had the frontend aligned, with new windshield rubber to be installed next week. Several businesses wouldn't even consider replacing the windshield rubber. Professionals here seem to shy away from installing the new headliner kits also but till then, I'm into a quiet ride so I'm sound deadening wherever I can. Every inch under and inside has POR 15 and their Top Coat where needed. Anybody, when in the Wenatchee area that wants to stop by to look or share some tips and stories are very welcome.  308 N. Emerson Ave. We also have a parts car.
