Not familiar with the 49, however I installed one in my 48 coupe. Had never done one before.

I recently did my first headliner install, was interesting but still enjoyable. I would recommend reinstalling any screws such as sun visor screws ect. before doing the install. This will help locating thier locations after the install.

Recently replaced the headliner in my d24. I used a pre-made from e-bay. I spray painted the 4 supports each with a different color (on one side only) where they met the support groments. Was my first headliner install & went well. Having a second pair of hands is a great help.
