  1. Hopefully it will be once I've ironed out the glitches Greg.
  2. Thanks Greg, that sounds like a brilliant idea.
  3. Thanks Greg. That helps a lot.
  4. I know I'm going to sound a bit of a dummy, but where are the fuses on a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer? I have about 50% of my lights working and no indicators at all. I think the bulbs are OK, so it's probably fuses or poor wiring.
  5. Hi, I have found that my 1950 Dodge Wayfarer has had it's polarity changed and now is negative earth (still on the 6V battery). I need to buy some new cables, so would I contact them as before or do I need to change them around? i.e. should I use the battery strap as per below to connect the negative terminal to earth or am I better using cables all round?
  6. Welcome. This is the place to come for advice.
  7. Cheers P.A.
  8. Cheers Bob
  9. Thank you. I'm still new to this site so please excuse my errors. Mahalo.
  10. Please can anyone help, I need an 'O' for my Dodge hood emblem for 1950 Wayfarer. Any ideas?
  11. Cheers. Looks like Optima is the way to go.
  12. Apologies, if this has already been discussed before, but I've done a search and couldn't find anything. I should be getting my 1950 Dodge Wayfarer delivered to me very soon, and I have a couple of basic questions. I am thinking about getting a spare 6V battery, are there any makes that are better than others, that you can recommend? I am possibly looking to put a new exhaust on, and replacing the stock header. Are there any recommended headers, or should I go bespoke? I am in the UK. Cheers

  14. Thank you all. It's good to be welcomed. Hopefully I can pick your brains and see some of you around this year.
  15. Wow, that's a nice bit of work. The 12V sounds interesting, I didn't know you could do that.

Hi, I'm a newbie here. I joined on a Robin Weathersbee recommendation. I've recently purchased a1950 Dodge Wayfarer 2 door fastback sedan, and should take delivery of it soon. I'll sure I'll be on here a lot, as I will need plenty of advice. Cheers Simon
