Made 8 of these this morning. The washer is 2" instead of 1 7/8" but I doubt that will matter. If it does I'll get them turned down.

Thanks everyone. I believe I'll go ahead and weld them on. Means lots more work but IMO much better looking in the long run.

thanks PA. seems that even though the hole is threaded I don't need a tube. Just put the dipstick in. If I do that it should be the correct length. Tks.
