  1. Thanks. This is very helpful. Is cb the fuse it runs through also where did you put the oil pressure switch.
  2. This is a really good idea. I never thought about using a inertia switch. I'm really need a diagram of how to do it.
  3. Would you happen to have a diagram of how you wired it up. Im thinking of going this route.
  4. Look for help on how to wire a electric fuel pump. Is it necessary to hook it up to a relay or could I just run it to a switch and a fuse. Thanks
  5. So I ended up getting a 6v electric pump. It's a 5-8 psi. I'm going to wire it up sometime tonight or tomorrow. Alot cheaper than the mechanical pump.
  6. Finally got my Coronet running and driving but my fuel pump decided to go out. Just wondering where I could find a new fuel pump or a rebuild kit for the 241 hemi. I also heard that you could take a 318 or 340 fuel pump and add a spacer to make it work. Anyone on here ever done it.
  7. Thanks for the help guys. I ended up having my daughter push down the clutch in nuetral while I tapped on the clutch driven plate with a hammer. Popped right off. Drove it for a little bit with just the clutch. It was awesome. Thanks for the help.
  8. So I took the inspection plate off and had my daughter push on the clutch while I took a look at it. I don't know what the clutch plate is supposed to look like but is it supposed to be split down the middle. When pressed it separates. Could that be the reason it's grinding while trying to shift.
  9. I'll have to check it out. Would you happen to have the wiring diagram for the transmission
  10. It's the gyromatic trans so I'm thinking fluid drive. Starts in gear, drives, doesn't stop when clutch is pressed.
  11. Those are good. Shifts fine with engine off.
  12. I started in gear and it drove in all gears. I can't get it to shift in any gears while in nuetral. The wires from the transmission aren't wired would that have something to do with it.
  13. I picked up a 53 dodge Coronet a couple of weeks ago. Got it running but when I try to put it in gear the transmission grinds in every gear. I have no idea what transmission came out for this year. Also could the wiring from the trans have something to do with the grinding or could it just be a worn out clutch. The engine is a 241 red ram hemi and I have no idea what transmission I have. Thanks
  14. Just got the rubber piece for my front window. Im getting the glass made.So how hard is it to install the window yourself. Never done anything like this but I really don't want to spend another 150. Any forums or videos. Tips please thanks.

  20. OK I got everything wired back up but my lights won't work. If I connect the red and yellow my lights work could it because its not grounding. I can't figure it out thanks for the help guys
