I learned alot of what I know messing with old john deere 2 cylinders. Here is the only picture I have of our tractors on my computer... The 11th John Deere BO which was restored from the ground up about 2 years ago, it is now riding on full steel wheels rather than the cut offs. The little Deeres are custom and build by my father and I because spoker Ds are just too damn expensive!
Very nice job on the rear end Paul. I really like how you used the stock pilothouse shock mounts on the jeep rear. If I ever have to do mine again I may try your idea out.
I used a rear from a 94 Jeep I think but mine has the same ratio. Like 4mula said you pretty much just have to change the perches for a 1/2 ton. I even managed to rig the emergency brake cables from the rear to mate up with the stock emergency brake handle under the dash
