Thanks for the replies. As far as the headliner, the car is not a restoration so I don't need original looking or custom. Just something out of the box. Probably going with a graphite color. Thanks bobostski for the lead on the door panels. That will take some scrounging on my part as I live in a very rural area. No big towns nearby.

Moving along bit by bit on the Coronet. I will be looking for a source for a headliner kit and waterproof materiel for the door panels. I plan on making my own panels unless someone has a better idea. Anyway, looking for recommendations for a vendor. Maybe as important, who to NOT use. Thanks!

I got my Ws gasket from Steele. Pricy, but excellent quality. I got my vent window seals, window sweeps and channels from AB. The front seals were pretty nice. The rear ones fit like socks on a rooster. Their shipping was pretty high also. 1 to 10 I would give them a 5.

I had actually considered a four link myself for my 8.8. I went with the stock leaf springs for now, but I may try the four link at a later time. Maybe not bags though. If my leafs get too tired I think it's a good option over new leafs.

O.K. A lot of good info here. I noticed no one mentioned Roberts. Anyway, I will also need to reset some of the glass into the frames. I was considering using black RTV for that, but I am open to better suggestions.

Well I am getting to the point of re-installing the glass in my car. I have read a bunch of posts about the glass channel and fuzzies, and I think I got that part pretty much understood. The question of the day is who do you guys recommend as a vendor for the vent glass rubber? I see Roberts has some as well as Andy Bernbaum. How is the quality of those? Or do I bite the bullet and get them from Steele? I am all about saving money, but if the quality isn't there it will just turn out to be one big cluster. Thanks!

Yes I am aware the rear window could not be lowered all the way with a one piece glass, but I have seen many cars that are made that way. I am just not sure how to proceed, but then again I have never built a car before. Ignorance hasn't stopped me so far. I have actually done more since that pic. That was right after paint. Mostly interior and side glass left to do. Along with a million and one little things. Those never seem to end.

My project is progressing slowly. As they say life happens and I have not worked on it much lately. Here is a question I pose, since very little of my original car is left I am considering eliminating the vent windows and going with a one piece side glass. At least on the rear doors. Has anyone done or attempted this? If so, how did it work out? Any insight would be great. Thanks.

Thanks for all replies. I did find the thread on this subject and it was helpful as well. Heading to Spring Jefferson ( Wisconsin) Thursday. There is a guy there that sells all sorts of clips. Maybe he can help me out.

O.K. I am to the point that I am ready to install new window sweeps and channels. I saved the old ones to use as patterns. I have come up empty for clips to attach the sweeps. Are there any tips out there for installing these items? How best to attach the new sweeps without new clips? Thanks!

I used a Ford 8.8 out of a 2001 Explorer. Fits great as is and already has disc brakes. However your stock wheels will not fit the disc brake models. If that's a concern go with the earlier years with drum brakes. The bolt pattern is the same.

Maybe they don't go back to our cars, but that would be helpful if I were to use newer seats. Most of the newer seats I find in the bone yard are pretty sound but need new covers to make them look nice. Thanks.

I did see them on JCW but I had concerns about fit. They seemed to be kind of a universal fit kind of thing. Has anyone tried JCW seat covers?
