About Me

I spend a lot of my time driving, talking, listening, and asking questions. I also spend a lot of time reading between the lines some say it's a waste of time, but I enjoy it. I grew up the normal modern-day childhood visited my grandmother in which is what I guess sparked my interest in the previous way of life from listening to my grandmother talk about her life growing up and hearing the bluegrass also hearing the other older folks talk that we bumped into. Then when I finally started driving, I started going by the feed/seed store, Mr. Doug opened it with his brother in 1959 and has been open ever since. we would go in every couple of years throughout my childhood. he still has the glass bottle drinks and water and air are still free. For the longest time I thought the only thing people done back then was live on a farm and pick cotton but about 3 or 4 years ago I found some folks that moved from the north and learned a completely different way of life and then started adventuring and learning even more walks of life. I eventually got out of touch with my generation, so I found a group of kids that had some common sense and morals and respect, so I started hanging around with them. I have found they are similarities between the older generation and those of us from the early 2000s not much but a few. One thing a buddy of mine told me to step back once in a while to take a look at what's around me and also who's around me.  he said the only regret he has is how much he slept through his walk of life and that if he had known it went by so quick, he believed he could have run off 4 hours instead of 8.
