  1. I have just installed a T5 transmission in my 52 B3B and have a question for those of you who are running one. Does there need to be a crossmember for the tail housing or can you get by without one? I have been using this site for information on working on this truck. So far I have swapped disc brakes using the Olddaddy kit, rewired using a Haywire harnass, installed a power brake booster on the firewall plus a bunch of other things. Thanks for the help! Ed
  2. I am sure that you do not want to wrap it in rubber. The case is the return path for the high voltage side and needs to be in contact with ground (metal of the engine block)
  3. I just bought a 52 Dodge B3B. I have been busy installing the disc brake kit from Charle Ackers and a wiring harness from Haywire. The previous owners had made a bit of a mess of the brakes and wiring. I am getting closer to starting it and getting it back on the road. My question is, what is recommended for engine oil, transmission gear oil, and rear axel lube? It has the 218 with a three on the tree. Also, my fuel tank is a bit of a mess, any recommendations on a suitable replacement. I am a bit handy and have the tools to do mods, just need a good starting point. Thanks, Ed
