they are from two 47 Plymouth's i want them to be reused and not scrapped one has been painted in por15 both have full drive train (flat6 3/speed trans) wheels might be frozen, motor might be a lil frozen the unpainted frame has my factory rims on that i will need to keep for my car so if you have spares or can return my rims that would be great i was going to try to sell but money is hard for all of us right now so if you want to donate a couple of dollars to me or this site that would be cool not manditory i think i will be keeping the bumper & brackets off of the frames, steering wheels, radiators for my car as i need them sorry radio guy i dropped of the earth for a while i was very very busy now im layed off so i have some time on hand to get stuff done email me your number if you want them joeltorres11@hotmail.com

ok i put my big girl panties on lol and got to work (for the record i do not wear panties) i started this at 7 p.m. and finished at 12 ok i removed two brackets off the old chassis grinded and clean them up some i removed a section of u channel type brace off the donor car floor and cut two small section's out i welded the two small sections to the underside of the parallel square tubes and placed the brackets on the frame and tac welded them in place this will raise my boy off the frame the way i want it so far i have 4 body mounts done the next set i have the holes drilled in the frame with a bolt and bushing mounted but will rework it so the rubber has full contact ready for some pics cause im sleepy my anti mosquito hood

i was thinking of cutting out the floor supports from the old floor and extending the ones on the car and eliminate the square tubes but i wont get that much differance in hieght unless i body drop it which i don't want to do i hate when the floor are uneven so im leaving it at the height she's at and will start to fab body mounts tomorrow i need a break and yes there is a whole complete car and a half of another in my shed of parts:D
-
i have a minor problem with the floor supports i replaced with square tube cause they raise the body of the frame an extra inch so i either make up the difference or remove them and redo it so the body sits lower im not in a rush as this is very important step right now like i said before im not a professional and its only me working on it if i had more people i would have more ideas on hand so i am looking at all my options and will use the best ok so i have the body centered front to back spare fender for mock up mock up of front body mounts i kinda wish they where lower

yup registered as a 47 but once im done with everything i will value it at a higher price she has allot to be done i have to put the body mounts in place and trim a a part i welded in the wrong place but everything lines up nice i will be running the motor 100% stock for fuel economy the trunk floor area has to be replaced as its shot so il do that once she is bolted down and after i get everything done im going to tear it apart and rotisserie the body and seam seal and undercoat ( i can't wait)

as far as airbags i love them but..... if installed wrong they will be a pain in the butt if installed correctly anyone will love them i know 60 yr old guys who have airbags and love them they ride nice and the adjustabilties are great if you have leaf springs you will have to replace them with a four link for allot of travel but there are a few cars i know that have leafs with airbags and anyone who says airbags are not safe or not good to use just think of all the 18 wheelers that have them are you looking for heigth adjustment or a smoother ride when the road get bumpy as far as the other stuff i have thought these same question and the rivets are fine and strong as hell , the slag i have grinded clean and even add weld to make it look nicer in spots the arms i think are stong as hell why are you going to hop it with hydro's? Joel Torres replied to Joel Torres's topic in P15-D24 Forum
Thanks guys i will get a price tomorrow -
i picked up a 10x20 dog kennel fence with the door so mu huskie isn't running around the whole yard like a nut when im not watching right now the floor is the grass and dirt what should i use as a floor i was thinking concrete but thats a lil pricey right now but seems the only way to go so i guess i build a big box frame with frames inside making lil box's and fill with cement

sounds cool it sucks we can't send stuff to you in crates at a cheap cost for you cause then you could buy a donor car here and we cut it up and mail it i wonder what to total weight would be for all the parts in a crate? the only thing you don't need is the body you could be churning out upgraded plymouths all year round:D 9 months waiting for a motor i would go bananas i really think we need to make a shipping business and supply you guys with drugs i mean parts you need send me one of those little mini coopers back in the crate and write return to shipper lol

yup on what greg said an easy way to do it is get cheap emt grind where your going to weld at clean and weld a make shift roll cage from side to side and across the door from a to b pillar so that the body dosn't twist or move around now they sell the rockers for your car (two door) did you know? if that to pricey then you can go the route i took as i had less metal then you for rockers i used 2x2 steel and my rock is going to be a skin i have bent up that will weld to the 2x2 if you see my build page it will make more sense

not that hard i ordered the front cups for a chevy caprice and moved the bolt over and re welded it and bolted it to the frame and connected the bags you can make it yourself really easy i found this site to sell stuff for a good price http://www.suicidedoors.com/ my photo album might help you with what your doing as i have strip a couple of plymouth so far http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v134/alphastrikefx/ before you take the body off the frame (if your going to) how are the rocker panels if they are not solid you will want to rebuild them or brace the heck out of the car first so you dont twist the body i temp installed bags in my chassis here you can see them
