  1. Thanks.. Got the other sons done...
  2. And my wife as janine. the team was short handed, so she is helping out...lol, Im making her pack now. My older son is Louis Tully with the head gear on. Im still making it...Ill post more pics when I get them... Oh and yes we know the A is missing. it fell off just before she started taking pics.
  3. Glad I was able to make a contribution to the board....lol And thank you for the welcomes. As for the engine. I know alot of you want it to be the flathead. If I can get it to run, it will most likely be that, but if I cant, I have a running 360 sitting here. It cheaper than rebuilding the flathead.
  4. She kinda supports it. She like to look at them and go for rides in them, but hates the fact that I spend money on it.
  5. Hello everyone. I picked up a 47 plymouth 2 door sedan. Its missing a few things, and has been sitting for along time with nothing done to it. The first thing I have done, and the only thing so far is clean it out and see what I really have to work with. I know alot with disagree with my plans, but in the end Im the one building it and I'm the one enjoying it with my family and friends. I do plan on trying to get the flat head running, and then pull it and swap it with a 360, a 727 trans, and a 8 3/4 rear out of a fury. One reason for the swap is, more than likely I wont be able to get the car to run efficiently with out buying a bunch of hard to find parts. I would rather sell a potential running motor, than scrap it, and if someone could use it more than me, more power to them. Im not going to go out of my way to do a original restore for this either. I understand how some like that, but thats not my cup of tea. In the end Im the one driving it. This is after 4 55 gal drum fulls of leaves and trash have been removed. My church going floors.
  6. I did make it. Thanks for the help.I got it but wasn't able to post for a awhile... Is there a intro section? I know I'm new but its a little hard to navigate the site for the first time. Can I make a small suggestion? Maybe break up the forums a bit by adding sub forums like suspension, engine, etc. Ill wait for a intro till I know where to put it. Thanks again for nthose that helped me get on here.
