Well, you guys must have gotten the good ones before I ordered mine because that is where mine came from and it is NOT good. Mine is 1 year and two months old and has never been outside one night since it was installed....

Anybody have a good source for the rubber ring that goes around the gas filler pipe and cab. I bought a new one from the guy on the east coast and it hasn't even lasted a year, it has cracked in many places and in half in one place, very poor quality. thanks
-
Would somebody do me a favor and measure the distance from the floor where the steering column goes through to the steering wheel on a stock truck, I have a 51 B3B. thanks Steve
-
Here are the photos of the Disc Brake conversion for sale. Last call going on EBay next week. thanks, Steve

51 B3B. I have a modified front end for sale. It has less than 1000 miles on it. I am removing the complete front end. Everything on the front end is new not rebuilt, tie rod ends etc. The spindles have been modified for disc brakes and all parts were new, rotors, calipers everything. I will part it out for the right price. I am not going to give it away but I will consider all offers. I also have a rebuilt steering box rebuilt by the guy in California. If you want something, make me an offer. I have had no luck in selling anything on this site and I would rather sell it to the guys on here so I thought I would give it another try before I put it on EBay. Thanks

Try backing a 18 foot car trailer down a road and up a hill with the standard steering. I don't have the rear port windows, of course I never claimed I was a "real" man however I do drive my truck everyday.

I have a 51 B3B that didn't turn out the way I want it because I am using it as a daily driver, I want power steeing and modern front end. So, I am going to remove my stock front end that has all new parts, drag link, tie rod ends, king pins, etc. and has been converted to disk brakes. It has less than 200 miles on the entire thing. I am not going to give this away but I am willing to deal. I am outside of Memphis TN so you would probably have to come get it or I could take it apart and ship the pieces. I have a lot of time and money invested so if you are interested make me an offer. thanks, Steve

How do you make this oil filter fit?
ssdodge51 replied to Dan Babb's topic in Mopar Flathead Truck Forum
I used a spin on on mine worked fine until I changed it out to a V-8. Here is the link: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=20492 I posted some photos of the installation. -
Horn works I've already checked that. I suspect I have the wrong wheel and ring combination but I have been unable to find the standard horn button
-
The column is grounded, the horn ring spokes will not line up with the steering wheel spokes. Thanks for the response.
-
Here is my horn ring, I know it is probably something simple but cannot get it to ground so the horn will blow. I have put a new connector, wiring cleaned the spring, the brass inside the wheel and the button attachment clips but still nothing. I don't even know if this is the correct thing for my truck. Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks, Steve

Has anybody installed a modern style headliner in a Pilothouse? I am thinking of something like my 55Chevy with headliner bows. thanks, Steve
-
I have a 3 spoke chrome horn ring and button I have no idea if it is original or not. What I do know is I can get it to work. I have rewired it, cleaned the spring and the brass with no luck, I give up. Does anybody have just the standard round horn button they want to give up? thanks Steve

Door Lock Question and I need Door Latch springs
ssdodge51 replied to ssdodge51's topic in Mopar Flathead Truck Forum
Thanks, that is what I suspected but wasn't sure. I had the same problem on my 37 Ford and it was a similar situation. I really need a left door latch assembly.
