  1. Yeah, sorry about the miswording, it is a Coronet. I contacted SMS about material and they're going to send out a sample. The area I live in, it's hard to find someone that does good work with out having to wait 6 months. Harry
  2. I would like to have the seats recovered in my '49 Dodge Coronado Club Coupe and have it done in stock appearig material for the era. Does any one have pictures and maybe a source for material? Thanks as always and I appreciate all the help
  3. Sometimes when the noise is heard with the clutch pedal out and the transmission in nuetral., the noise comes from the needle bearings in the central shaft of the transmission. Can you hear it when running in low and second also?
  4. Yes, I can see it would hard to do. The problem seems to be that the big washer with the spacer attached to it won't come up far enough to clear the crossmember before it hits transmission or the floorpan.
  5. Has anyone had occasion to change the rear mounts on a 1949 Dodge with the car together? I can't get the transmission high enough to get the rear mounts out of the crossmember. I would appreciate any help and advice. Harry
