  1. I some day when time and money permits plan on putting a 276 desoto Hemi in my truck.
  2. I have a Desoto 276 Hemi I thought about swapping into my B3B. Has anyone seen this done?
  3. I hope to start work on the Hemi real soon. I have the machined work done but I ordered the wrong bearing size.
  4. All of the early mopars with Flatheads and the early HEMIs were painted aluminum, unfortunately the paint burned off quite fast. But during those years people found a lot of Ford blue laying around that held up quite well.
  5. Keep looking at the back issues of Mopar Muscle. There is another pilot house featured, back when they used to feature a truck in each issue. They replaced that feature with the Rare Finds.
  6. silver, most Chrysler engines of th fifties and oolder are silver, even Desoto.
  7. Just when Danny Glover and his side kick walk int to the restaurant.
  8. My b3b has 15in wheels, I don't know if they are right or not. I do know dodge used taller tires on the heavier rated trucks, becouse the larger the tire the larger load capacity.
  9. I have visited Hot Heads and talked to Bob walker. He Is really good people!! http://www.hothemiheads.com/ check out his web sight!! I can tell you,...for sure,....a early Hemi will not fit in a Wheel horse lawn tracter.
  10. I posted once on the old forum on this topic. I would like to start this thread here. I have a 276 desoto hemi that I plan on installing in my pilot-house. I have seen a 52 like mine with a 440. The gentleman who owns this truck did the swap himself without moving the firewall. Any suggestions or ideals would be appreciated.
