i think i know what happened but not sure that spark plug was not in it so i think it got water in it and froze and broke it the others do not look to be that bad no rust on them going to stripe the rest of it later TOM

are these books good ones TOM

ok now what do i do i tore the frist motor down and this is what i found and this is the better looking of the to start on the other one tomorrow TOM

i do not see the Serial numbers any where PI*I03023I or PI5*789542* that tells me what size it is TOM

can any one tell me what size these motors are TOM

dose anyone have and books they want to sell on the motor or the car i ca buy TOM

oh they are missing lots of parts like water pump fuel pump distributator gen starter and more with my luck TOM

i will have to totaly have to rebuild one of them and find a few parts I also got the tranies with them TOM

well i got 2 motors today and here are the numbers i found on the pi5*789542 * the other one is pi5*i03023i TOM

it is in N Tonawanda i am going to pick up 2 motors for it tomorrow from the guy i bought it form if he is home TOM

the one way i used to find out if it was rings or valves was to put squirt a little oil in cylinder then check the compression if the compression was good then its the valves if if not then the rings are bad TOM

yeah the good thing about chasing the parts down is that i am a truck driver and i go all over the place like TX, LA, GA, MO that should make it a little easier I hope TOM

well i know i have some of the parts but not all . I still have to pick up the motors for it 2 or 3 of them and 1 or 2 trans maybe the rear end i am hoping .Hoping he still has some parts to and maybe some book on it TOM

oh ok i will have lots of dumb ? then i guess what is the 15 iguess i have a lot to lean TOM
