About Me
I've never owned a new vehicle...bailing wire, duct tape and twine have always held on, held up, or held together something I was driving. A few years back, more out of necessity than desire, I once more started digging into engines...and found that I actually enjoyed the process. In February of 2020 I found an old Hudson Super Jet...just a rust bucket. The owner said " Maybe you'll have it on the road by the end of the Summer", I shelled out a stack of greenbacks, towed it home and dug in. It's been my reliable daily driver since the first week of April. Then I got bored...and bought a 51 Plymouth Cambridge. It sort of ran, in one of those "is that supposed to sound like that" ways. I'm now elbow deep from underneath, wondering if I made a bad choice, tossing good money after bad, and loving every minute of it. I'm planning to have this jalopy rolling properly down the road before August.
