    does anyone make a steering wheel adapter for aftermarket wheel for 49 plymouth?...or do the later model mopar wheels fit?...what have you guys done for a nicer wheel"?

    thanks loren...i doubt if anyone has ever messed with the steering box on this car....it is pretty much original....i don't think it was driven alot

    thanks dan..that explains everything....i saw the star washer but i didn't realize there was a cover on the adjustment screw

    i have some play in the steering box on my coupe....on newer vehicles to adjust the box you break the jam nut loose and turn the stud in with a screw driver...what is the procedure to adjust the box on my car?..thanks in advance

    es the flap is free and will rotate

    the reason i ask is i was just wondering if the two parts are blocked off inside the manifold...if not i am just going to cap the front one and run single exhaust

    the exhaust manifold on my flat head 218 has 2 exhaust dump connectors on it...the front one looks to have been welded on...is this factory of someones aftermarket job?

    it is definitely a 49...it is titled as 49 and is a driver....but it appears the headliner does tuck in under the window seal and has no trim

    what puzzles me is that there is a flange around the inside of the window that the trim would attach to but no way to mount it

    i'm in arizona....the car has been here all its life...

    thats what i thought but there are no holes on my car to screw the trim to,,,it has a flange but no holes

    the headliner is gone...here are a couple pics...i dont see any way to attach the trim

    my car doesn't have the rear window trim that covers the headliner....i was looking at some trim on ebay and noticed it had holes to mount it...on my car i see no holes.i'm wondering if my car ever had it....did business coupes have rear window trim?

    it also appears that i am missing the trim that goes around the inside of the windshield and rear window

    i bought a 49 coupe and a new headliner came with it but not installed....there are some bows in the trunk...can anyone tell me how many bows the headliner uses?...thanks in advance
