old mopar fan Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Hi evryone I ask the moderaters to leave this here for a couple of days since there is more traffic in here than in the classifieds. I have 48 Dodge four door that I need to get rid of fast. My wife and I are having our first baby and are putting an addition on our house to make a second bedroom. I have no time space or money to do any thing with the car. There is no title so I am trying to sell it as a parts car. The engine runs great the brakes are frozen so I don't know how it drives. It is all original with very little rust through and is 100% complete the only thing missing is one knob on the dash. I am only asking 550 for it. Construction is scheduled to start 1st or 2nd week of june and if I still have it then I will be forced to send it to a junk yard which I do not want to do but have no choice. Please someone save it you can contact me by email at jeff.pierson@covidien.com or call me at (508) 294-2143. the car is located in Middleboro Ma. about 30-45 minutes north of Rhode Island. Thanks in advance Jeff Quote
Heavy Flat Head Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Jeff, Congratts on the baby thing But I am sorry to hear that you need to sell your car. Are you sure you do not live in the Pacific Nortwest. I am trying to find a running motor as I am getting tired of just going vroom vroom in mine. I think I speak for a lot of us in saying that we understand about the money thing. Even with out a new one on the way with the rise in prices it is making it a struggle trying to balance all of modern life and find money for parts. Good luck with your new adventure and I hope you get another mopar in the furture to help bond with your future grandkids parent. Ed. Quote
old mopar fan Posted May 14, 2008 Author Report Posted May 14, 2008 Thanks Ed I am keeping my wifes toy its a 72 Plymouth Scamp so me and the boy:D will have an old mopar to play with. And my daily driver is a 79 IH Scout II that I hope to pass on to him when he gets to be driving age. I am more bummed out that the car might end up being reborn as a toyota than I am to see it go. I will hate to see it go but if it goes to someone who can use it and enjoy it that would atleast make me feel better than just sending it to a junkyard. and if it comes down to me junking it I would gladly give you the motor out of it if you could get it shipped out there. The thought of junking any old car kills me. Quote
