Shel,

I still want a hood brace for my '48 P-15. I don't know if you were posting an open invitation to everyone on the forum but I still want a hood brace for my '48 P-15. I don't know if they were ever used in other years and if any might be interchangeable, but if they did and they are I'll settle for one of those.

Bottom line: I still want a hood brace for my '48 P-15 and I ain't too fussy where it comes from. (Wink wink, nod nod, poke in the ribs, know what I mean?)

If you find a P15 with hood brace, it would be advisable to also get the

hood hinges since they have the proper threaded holes to attach the

brace. The two holes are at the forward end of the hinge.

And there is an L bracket that attaches to the seam in the middle of the

hood. Seen at the very left of photo.

Wondering where you are located "Up in the Adirondack Mtn's." I was born way up in Malone, NY and my Mom's family was from Chataugay. My grandfather was a village blacksmith there back at the turn of the century . My folks moved to western NY when I was little and we all ended up in Florida back in the late 60's/early 70's. My brother has since retired to the Malone area and winters here in Jensen Beach. He just left yesterday to head back to the north country. All that to say Hi and find out what part of the Adirondacks you are in. As far as parts are concerned. I REALLY need a tinted windshield for my '53 Belvedere 2 door hardtop. I'm told that all but a convertable are the same. Moving out of the MOPAR realm, a buddy down here needs a '32-'34 Ford truck drivers door. My brother up there is looking for any '26-'27 coupe and roadster body parts. He is currently working on a coupe but would like to swap it over to a roadster when he finds a body. I could go on about parts I'd like to find but they are for projects waiting in the wings that I may never get to, and I know no one else has that problem on this forum.

Shel, I think it is very good of you to look for parts for the rest of us, really Gentlemanly. I have a running list of who is looking for what whenever I go rambling around the yards and backroads. My current personal list is pretty short:

50 Plymouth Suburban wagon:

1. 2-rear side window garnish moldings. These are the non-opening rearmost side windows.

2. Rear floor hole plugs. There is a large metal plug that goes in a hole in the spare tire well, and on the cover of the well, I need 2 each.
