Yeah Norm I'd rather have snow too. Much worse south of here with lots of ice.

In two weeks we've picked up limbs knocked down by severe storms and now picking up limbs and having power outages by ice.

I wish it would make up it's mind. I'm ready for summer.

Well, Fred, today is Feb 13th. Just got around to reading this thread on

the weather. We were gone the last week of January and the first

couple days of February (on our cruise to warm Caribbean places). While

gone, we had some snow and ice in Joplin.

Then at the last of the past

week there was some more snow and freezing rain that coated trees and

power lines again (like the ice storm that occurred around Jan 10th). However, the past couple days have been sunny and in the 30s....

ice is now melting and falling from trees and lines. Predictions are

for temps in the 30s, 40s and maybe the 50s the next several days.

Typical Missouri weather......just wait a while and it will change.

Been plenty cold to suit me.....but not as severe as some of you get.

We have tornadoes around here as well.....a line of them went to

the south and east of us two or three weeks ago.

Hold on again if what we have here comes your way, your are doing to have high winds again. We are having winds in the 40-50 mph range at this time with temps in the 70's. They say that the wind is going to blow till Friday. I think I'm going to quit cleaning up.

Dennis:(
