Is there a way to pop out the trunk lock on a p-15 without taking the whole assembly off? It looks like there is some sort of pin at the top of the lock. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to insert the key and turn slightly then depress the pin you speak of and the lock should come out. By turning the key the pin finds a recess in the lock to allow it to be depressed.

Good Luck

Sorry I just noticed you asked without taking the Assembly off. You must take the Assembly off and the pin is on the inside.

Sorry about that I guess I should read the question better.

Thanks, I took the assembly off. I don't have a key, just a blank one that I want to have cut for it. I'll try turning that one abit.
