Help ID engine numbers...

I would like to solicit some expertise from those of you who know the engine casting numbers on these Dodge trucks. My flathead 6 has the following numbers:

Stamped on engine BLOCK - Drivers Side - Top - Front

T. 306142773.

Bottom of BLOCK - Front

58

9 4

Bottom of BLOCK - Rear

1315529 - 2

Stamped on HEAD:

DT

132036-1

Your number is correct for you truck. T306 is a 218ci, 23 inch Dodge Truck block, B-3-B or B-4-B from 1951-1953 truck.

The rest of those number are probably stampings from the forges. I don't know of any way of checking them out. Someone else may be able to help you out.
