New discovery

I was talking with a buddy of mine, and he told me of a car club nearby.... they have all the info on the shows etc for the region..... I called, and talked with the owner of the club and will be joining up..... I found out about all the collector cars in the region (couple hundred, but then again, its a large spaced out region with maybe 200 000 of population) and there are a few dodges and plymouths..... I'll be checking them out in the future...

But even better than that, I've been wanting to find out more about my car, and the guy who sold it to me couldn't or wouldn't tell me about previous owners (and according to the DMV, other than me or him, there aren't any on record). The owner of the club recognized the car and said, oh yeah you bought that from so n so and before that it was at such and such... I said whoh.... where is this such and such, so now I have a new lead to find out more about where my car travelled...... yippee, more background info....

Local car clubs can be fun, I belong to "Just Cruisin' 4 Fun" Car Club here in Barstow. We put on 2 shows a year, our annual show in April and our Toys 4 Tots in November. When we go to car shows we travel togeather and arrive as a club so we can park togeather. We have all kinds of cars in the club from a 31 Ford T-pickup to a new Mustang.

YEs, those clubs can be fun. Usually a bunch of nice people. I used to belong to an area club quite a few years ago....but haven't decided to join again as I seem to have plenty stuff going on all the time.
