addase Posted June 3, 2017 Report Posted June 3, 2017 I have a 1951 plymouth that I converted from 6v to 12v. I have a mopar dash clock and want to know how I can run it on the 12v battery. Can I simply pet a resistor detween the power and clock. Do you know how many amps the clock draws? Quote
Frank's 49 Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 If you measure the resistance through the clock, you should be able to just use the same size resistor in line. The clock and the new resistor should then "split" the 12 volts, and each absorb 6 volts. Quote
