Oberstar Posted March 25, 2017 Report Posted March 25, 2017 (edited) The Chrysler Intake valve that was removed from my D24 is 868886. In attempting to replace it, I was given some free valves, Chrysler number 1109911. The only difference I can tell between them is that the 1109911 is .005" longer. Can someone tell me if this affects the tappet clearance enough to where I need to stick with the original 868886? These are nice and I would love to use them, but don't know if they're interchangeable? 1109911 INTAKE VALVE,PU REGROUND /6 CYL 1953-55 P Edited March 25, 2017 by Oberstar Quote
Dartgame Posted March 25, 2017 Report Posted March 25, 2017 I would think they should work as long as the head and stem diameter are the same. The length can be taken up with the tappet adjustment. Quote
