Lee Exline Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 That's right my half car half truck 1956 Plymouth with right hand drive is on the auction block! Here is the sale! Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Lee, You know a few months after you sell that, you are going to regret it. That said, I had to laugh when I read your description. The part about the visor flying off. Same thing happened to my Fulton on my coupe. Had to chuckle when I heard of another flying visor. Quote

I had intended on selling the Plymouth 3-years ago but the wife put a stop to it since she wanted something to have fun with. SHe wants me to sell the Desoto and restore the Plymouth but that aint gonna happen! Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Lee, Have nothing against DeSoto's. They are nice cars too. However, think I would have to agree with your wife on this one. The Plymouth looks like it's a lot closer to being done than the DeSoto is. So, I would have kept the Plymouth and sold the DeSoto. Of course, I can't see the little things you can while standing next to the cars. Pictures can be deceiving and maybe the DeSoto is a better car that just needs a paint job. Quote
Lee Exline Posted June 17, 2007 Author Report Posted June 17, 2007 I like the looks of the Desoto grille much better and it is also much more rare! Plus most of all I am a Desoto guy at heart! So Matilda stays Quote
