steveplym Posted June 10, 2007 Author Report Posted June 10, 2007 Well today I finished wiring and taping the harness. Put the dash back in place and made sure everything works. Did not have one problem, yet. I haven't driven it yet. I finished installing the watson streetworks brake switch and got it adjusted to my liking. Really is a pretty simple install. I'll add some pics of that tommorow once I finish wiring it. I also installed the Foxton turnsignal switch. Very nice switch and was really easy to install. Added some more pics to the photobucket album. The link is at the top of this thread. Quote
eric wissing Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 No sparks , smell of burning rubber, or flames sounds like you have done well. I like the turn signal handle. You are motivating me to get some installed. Eric Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 The bulb that comes in that handle should work even with 6 volt....mine does. Looking good. Glad your handiwork is turning out OK. My Foxton turn signal is the same as yours. Lately it seems a little hard to work.....has a funny feel to it. Still works all right. But I'm thinking of replacing it with another brand my son-in-law bought recently. It is used but seems satisfactory. May be finding out before long. Quote
steveplym Posted June 11, 2007 Author Report Posted June 11, 2007 Just finished wiring the brake switch and routing the wires away from clutch, engine, etc. Finished wrapping the harness and putting it in the right hangers and putting the rubber grommet back on the firewall. All thats left is to road test it. Interior is back together and I still have a few small items to install. Updated the gallery with a couple more pics. Thanks for all your help and support during this endeavor. Was well worth the work. Quote
