clutch pins worn????

I'm putting my 47 Club Coupe back together, working on the clutch linkage. I noticed that the pin that works the rod (6-52-2) is worn or so it seems. I did a search and found a picture that Don posted and it shows the same pins and they look worn also. So now I'm wondering if they are not worn and just made with a slot cut in them.
