I have been spending a little time on the fuel gauge in my 38 Coupe.

My 3 origina fuel gauges, and 2 senders are bad.

What I did was use a Ford Mustang fuel gauge, 1978, covered with a face

from the 38 fuel gauge, used a 78 Datson sender, about 12ohm - 65ohm.

This setup works very good with 6 volts.:)

This setup shows high reading on the gauge with 12 volt.

I have an older Toyota sender with about 15ohm - 75 ohm, that works ok,

but not as acurate as the Datson.
