Bob_Koch Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 I received this email and I'm sharing it with the group here. Who can help them with their truck need? Give John, the editor, a call at the phone number below. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Pilothouse, I am a writer for Motorcyclist magazine (http://www.motorcyclistonline.com). The editor, Brian Catterson, and I are currently working on an article that would involve a couple of motorcycles and a 1954-56 Dodge pickup in the Albuquerque, NM area. Basically, we are recreating the 1970 movie "Little Fauss and Big Halsey" which starred a '54-56 Dodge pickup and a couple of likable misfits (Robert Redford and Michael J. Pollard). We would like to find a Pilothouse member who owns one of these trucks (preferably in reliable but scruffy condition!) and who would permit us to use his truck in the article. The time window is approximately Sept. 12-17. Any connections you can provide would be most appreciated. Obviously someone in New Mexico or reasonably close by would be preferable to avoid the cost and concern of shipping. Thanks much, John L. Olddaddy Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 Well, the truck in that movie was a later model, maybe 58-59............ Quote
Thunder II Posted May 31, 2007 Report Posted May 31, 2007 There is an orange one, at a tire shop in Grants, NM. Right on old Route 66. The north side of the road. Just before you get into Milan. Quote
