Guest DeadBodyGuy Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Hey guys: I started a webpage from my website to show everything I'm doing to "Wyatt" my 1946 Bizzy Coupe. http://www.deadbodyguy.com/wyattposes.asp I'll try to keep it updated. Just in case you wanted see it. Thanks Chuck Quote

steveplym Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Looks like you are really getting into it. Keep the pics coming. I am assuming that is your replacement front that the front sheet metal is sitting on? Quote
Guest DeadBodyGuy Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Yes, It's a 1973 Nova front clip with power steering and power brakes. I found a guy locally who works for K.A.R. Mustang restorers in the day doing frame work. He said he would cut and weld the new frame for $600 on a weekend. I hope to have that done in about 2 weeks. The old engine is a 1957 283 chevy motor and 2 speed powerglide tranny.I'll probably sell that pair. I have a 350 4 bolt main I am thinking about building, but today I found a pre-built 350 chevy with Isky Cam, Accel Coil and tons of goodies still in a pontiac so we can hear it run for $300. I might go with that and a 700 R4 overdrive tranny. I will also have some front end parts for cheap or free when the new front clip goes on so stay tuned. Same thing with master cylinder and steering column. I'm also going bumperless so I'll have them too. I plan on have the rolling chassis and engine, brakes and fuel system done this year and body, paint and interior done next year. Keep watching chuck Quote
Guest DeadBodyGuy Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 Well, after looking underneath again today, I decided to take the body off of the frame. That way I can clean up the frame and paint it. I got the bolts out of the body mounts today and I'm hoping my son and I will have the body off this weekend. We still need to get the steering column, gas tank and little things off. I'll update the pics when we do. It's getting fun now ;-) Chuck Quote
Joel Torres Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 hey chuck my steering column stayed connected to the chassis i was driving the chassis around when i got the motor running Quote
AJ Johnson Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 Best of luck with the project. Like many I will be checking your site & admiring your handywork. Too bad you can't find a nice Mopar engine to drop into it. But I do understand the economics of a SBC motor. AJ Quote
Guest DeadBodyGuy Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 I added 3 new interior pics and a comment. Inside looks pretty good Chuck Quote
