OT Barstow Elvis Experience OT

Went to a kick off breakfast and car show for the Barstow Elvis Experience. We won best of show with the 56 Chevy.

We were suspose to go to the Elvis Experience tonight but right now we are having winds to 60 MPH. I don't even want to takemy body ou in that no less our cars.

Saw that in the news tonight. They were showing Lancaster, it was a brownout sandstorm.

Dennis, If you have something that needs sandblasting it would be a good time to put it outside.

The other Norm, When my wife drove home from work she said that she had to drive about 5 mph because she couldn't see.

Norm, The only problem was that it was me getting sand blasted.

We don't have it bad, I feel sorry for the people in the Kansas area.

Dennis, they gave out the car show awards before they held the car show?

They had a car show at the Friday Morning Breakfast, and they will have another show today at the Experience from 12-4.

Then we will go to California City on Sunday for the Desert Tortoise Days car show.

Today there's a big cruise at the local Legends burger joint. I'm going to hook up the teardrop and take my rig over there. One of the neighbor kids has been hinting that he'd like to go with me to a show, so he's my ride along today. It's clear, windy and hot today, the Santa Ana winds kicked in last night. Beautiful.
