Waiting on parts I decided to take the heater apart and clean her up then paint it. I have a model 62 w/fresh air and figured that even though the truck was converted to 12v the heater probably had not. To my suprise this motor was in it.

Actually the motor is a model 2n272 Dayton , but those seem to be the replacement for it.

I bench tested it and believe me 2350 rpms and the guinnea pig wheel sure do move some air. Explains why the previous owner had the defrost hoses duct taped to the housing!

I know its not original, might not be the motors preferred application; but it worked for the last guy..

Figured I'd pass it along..
