I have been working on my othere antique this week in preperation for the Rockville show.At first I could not get the break lights to work or the head light (right side) to come on so I rewired the pig tail and cut and installed new ends on the tail and brake lights.

I installed some new bolts and washers to the rear light fixtures and got the bezel close to the body as I could. Even with a newly painted surface The lights are brighter then before even the head lights are very bright.

I wonder what folks did in the 40's or was everthing so new they never had a problem. I am just glad that it worked out. I want these cars (Studebaker, Plymouth to remain original.

When I look at the condition (sad) of my 47 P15 wiring, I suspect that you 'hit it on the head' with "was everything so new".

Re-wiring is yet ANOTHER thing on my list of 'Things To Do' . . .

Cheers!

John
