Norm's Coupe Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Being in a good sparing mood while watching Jay Leno, I noticed he leaves his self wide open on at least one of his opening lines into a joke. Last night in two of his lead ins to a joke he said; "Hey, anyone here from Minnesota?" on the first one. Second one he changed the state for the lead in. Of course, at least a couple of people raised their hands. Then he went into his joke about Minnesota. Of course, that's what he wants because it usually will make the joke a little more funny. That's where he leaves his self open though. Instead of several people raising their hands to indicate they are from Minnesota, they should come back with; "No, haven't heard from them, have you?":D Of course, if you do that, you had better be of sound mind and quick wit to come back with his reply. As a stand up comedian I'm sure he'll come back with something to cut you down a little. So you have to be ready with, and quick to come back with another come back to that one. Win or lose in the sparing contest, it would be fun to mess with him a little, since he left the door open. Quote
