Hello all

I'm looking for the escutcheon plate or cover for the door handle on my '50 Dodge Coronet. This is the spring-loaded piece that fits into the garnish (window) molding above the door panel.

Please see photo 1 showing the missing item. The other photo has all the door & window hardware installed.

I was so organized and careful when disassembling the door panels for repair & recovering, I put all the pieces, parts, including my "how-to" notes etc in marked envelopes for each door. Come assembly time everything for the other 3 doors was there and in perfect order.

For the right rear door I found all the parts--including the tiny pin for the window & door handle cranks EXCEPT THE #%*$*#* escutcheon plate. Where, oh where did it go and where oh where can it be?

For the past 2 weeks I have searched the web, including all known supply houses plus Ebay looking for that one part.

Anyone have a reliable source for these or a spare escutcheon they are willing to sell?

Thank you.

Frank
